The Earring Rack

Use an earring rack to create a stunning display of your earring designs.  They come in a variety of forms, here are a few examples:

  • Rotating Racks

Rotating racks sit on a simple dolly mechanism that allows customers to spin the earring display to view all of your jewelry designs.

They can be made of a variety of materials such as plastic, wood, and metal.

If you are planning to do a lot of craft shows, or lugging them around to various jewelry parties, you probably should invest in something sturdier, such as a wooden one or a metal one, though from experience, I would say the wooden ones are the most reasonable priced and the sturdiest.

I have an oak rack that I have used forever.

It's all wood, except for the thin clear plastic bars that hold up the earring cards.

The base with the rotating mechanism is also plastic. It's held up remarkably well for someone who is a total klutzoid!

  • “To keep your earring cards from flying off the rack when traveling, you can try wrapping fabric around the display or fitting some old leggings around the display. Some people go as far as removing all earring display cards from the earring rack when packing up, it just depends how fragile your designs are."   ~Oran
  • Earring Display Rack

This display rack is usually made out of metal such as iron, is stationary, and usually flat with drill holes in the metal for the earrings.

They will display anywhere from 12-48 pairs of earrings, depending on the size you get.

These work better if you use leverback earring finds, as the earrings won’t fall off when you are traveling.

For additional security while traveling, you can wrap it with cling wrap to keep your creations from flopping around.

  • Individual Earring Displays

Individual displays highlight one pair of earrings, so if you have a special pair or two you’d like to show off, these are the perfect choice!

They are also great for add on selling, as you can use them to suggest matching earrings for your necklace displays

Another great way to use them is to show off a collection of your best earrings, or to show off a popular style you specialize in.

These displays are available in a variety of materials and finishes, from metal to plastic, wood, and wire.
